TFD weird problems...

any1 got any idea y i cant use ALT-TAB with this game ?

and another thing, when playing multiplayer (LAN IPX) it takes like 3 minutes untill the game loads from the server.. any ideas ?

My ALT-TAB works fine, and I have Othello's 8-Player Co-Op / No CD Patch installed as well...

Perhaps if you listed your computer's specs, that might help us determine if it is a hardware problem. Also, is your ISP a dial-up, cable, DSL connection?

amd 1800+, 512mb ddr, geforce4 64mb, ac97 5.1 sound card, XP pro, dx9.

of course all the latest drivers and updates.
Isp is DSL but i'm not talking about internet play i'm talking about lan.

i also got the 8 coop patch d/led from this site, cant alt-tab not in sp or mp.

P.S: i also got BHD and its working much much better then TFD both sp and mp internet or lan (alt tab and all works fine) the reason i got TFD was for the coop.

Try setting your game resolution to a different setting than your desktop resolution - or vice versa.

tried that, even changed it to 640x480 with 16bit color...

what happens is that i do alt-tab to windows and thats fine, but when i want to go back into the game, i get the window of the game flashing like crazy, its like the game is running but stuck, i mean when i press fire, i can hear the shoots but nothing is moving on the screen, its just flashing like crazy on the same picture.

This one puzzles me Tomer. I'm not using DX9 for now. Many claimed to have improved play in BHD with it, but 8.1 works fine for me. I tried DX9 temporarily and reinstalled windows to get rid of it - because it caused 'bugs' similar to what you describe. That has been some time ago, so I'm not sure of specifics... but they were video problems.

i think the dx9 does improving the BHD quality... i had dx8.1 be4 and u can really tell the differance between 8.1 and 9.
due back to the problem, the alt-tab annoying thing is less bothering me then the fact it take like 3-5 minz for my other cpu to join this one on a lan game, Note that it only happens when i set game to coop, when i do deathmatch its working in like 20 secs!

any idea about that ? i've installed the game again on both cpus, no change, only happens on coop mode.
