I was going to try to play on Novaworld for the first time, but I can't because the login screen looks damaged. can anyone help?

Suggestion...update your video drivers. I've had that happen to me and resolved it by changing video drivers.

I've also heard (and noticed) that XP does something to the fonts that makes them look like that in that window.

Drew, it just "looks" damaged, but it should work just fine (mine looks like that, and I play it all the time). If you want to fix it , try this, I run XP pro, so not sure if all the tabs are the same, but go to Start/Settings/Control Panel/Display/hit the appearance tab, then effects, in the second box down"method to smooth edges of screen fonts", clear is probably selected, change it to standard and hit OK. This should fix how the server screen looks, but will also effect how web pages are displayed. Its a trade off, your preference of course, but I would just live with the messed up server screen, so that everything else looks good. Like I said, it works fine like that.
