I recently purchased and installed Task Force Dagger. Everything seems to be working ok except for my sound. The sounds are all mummbled so much I can't understand what is being said. Does anyone have any clue to what could be wrong with my system to cause this. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can you give some specs on your system ? I found that in BHD, until my video card capabilities were upgraded, my sound suffered terribly. I know this is a different game - I had no problems with TFD - or am I saying that this is the problem, just saying it was mine.
If you have a good sound and video card ==and they seem to work ok in other stuff== you might want to make sure your power supply is not going bad.

My sysytem is a 550 mhz, 256 mb ram, with a nividia 4200 128 mb video card. I had a guy install the video card for me since I'm almost computer illiterate. To answer the other question, would a bad power supply cause this even when the sound works fine on other games?

OS is important too, when including stats...XP ? 98 ? What is your soundcard type ? All of this is 'blind diagnosing' , so please be patient with us.
With that setup, you should hear something more than muffled sound. 550mhz system indicates age - and what sayuton may be asking. The powersupply for a gforce4 card... especially with the fan usually installed on the 4200... needs to be at least 300Watts - and I've read as much as 400W. If you can open your computer, check the side of your box your cord plugs into and check that wattage.... if it is 250... you might be looking at a shortage of power getting to the soundcard.. otherwise a couple of other options you might try - sorry if they are obvious.
-recheck your speaker connections.
-uninstall and reinstall your soundcard drivers with the latest drivers. I don't know what kind of card you have, I'm guessing it is compatible.
-go to control panel, open the system, check your hardware and see if you have any exclamation marks.
