What are your system specs and connection?

I would suggest that you go here:

www.c4guide.com

Click on "Comanche 4 Guide".

Read the following topics:

Scoring

Spawning

Invisible

Gameplay

I believe many of the situations you come up against will be answered in those topics. There's a lot of behaviors in the game that aren't noticeable until someone points them out.

One of the biggest obstacles you'll face is people telling you what is and isn't fair in the game. I suggest not listening to them. In a public game you'll have people doing whatever it takes (8H if the server isn't running AutoExplode - see section on AutoExplode at www.c4guide.com, suicide FARP'ing, etc). The best thing to do is play as you feel best, and if you are frustrated that someone is using tricks to win, use those tricks too - match your enemies abilities. You can always apply rules when you join friends in a private server. Otherwise, on a public server (unless an admin is present telling you not to do something and is willing to punt people for violations) anything goes! It will save you a lot of headaches and frustration to just play as the game (or server in this case) permits instead of worrying about what is 'right or wrong'.

Also, for the best gameplay - be sure to check out the 'mute' command in that section. It seems to mute anyone in DM and TM DM modes - global (T) and team (Y). It's the best way to keep peace of mind and enjoy the game if you have problems with another player. Don't argue or listen to bickering, just mute people.

Comanche 4 actually has less problems than most other online games - which are rampant with cheats, and exploits - too many to list here. But it does have the mute command, which is unique to NL games and a few others titles/series.

It's all about mute.

Let me know if this did or didn't help. I'd like to change the guide if anything isn't clear or helpful.
