just when i think things are at the worst, they get worse. business is terrible, corporate travel is down, all of our drivers are screaming about the lack of work. the doctors have no faith in the recovery of my wife, & the insurance companys want to "evict" her from the hospital to a cheaper expense (nursing home or dieing home). grrrrrrrrrrrrr
and today one of my employees was shot in the leg on the job. this kind of **** doesn't happen in these parts. this is so far fetched for me that i snapped. hello smirnoff, make some room in that bottle for me.
sorry, i am venting. my head is going to hurt tomorrow.

SAN DIEGO -- A shootout involving two sheriff's deputies at an Encinitas gas station left one of them wounded Friday, along with a suspect and an innocent bystander, 10News reported.
Sheriff's personnel were investigating a report of a possibly armed and suicidal man in a motel on Encinitas Boulevard when they saw a driver matching his description pull into a Shell gas station near Interstate 5 about 2:30 p.m.
As the deputies approached him, the man got out and reached toward his waistband, sheriff's Lt. Doug Clements said. When they ordered him to freeze, he pulled a pistol and started shooting, according to Clements.
The deputies returned fire, striking him at least once, 10News reported. One of the officers reportedly suffered a gunshot wound to an ankle, and a passer-by was grazed by a bullet, also in the leg.
Chris Saunders of the Sheriff's Department said the case is under investigation by the department's homicide unit, which handles all officer-involved shootings.
