Greetings.
Some of you may have heard about Squad Central. This is a project, in the Comanche 4 Top Gun Academy, to keep the information about all active squads (including matches) in one place that everybody can easily browse.
Squad Central was dorment for a while but it is back (with a few bugs that you will find and report to me) and you are all invited to visit it at http://c4.jalopes.net/modules.php?name=Squad_Central.
Features include:
- maintain list of pilots
- schedulle and confirm matches
- publish and confirm results
The differences from the previous versions are:
- it's up to the squads to keep the information updated;
- no passwords needed - access to admin options are restricted to squad leaders;
- ranks are gone - they envolved a lot of work publishing the results of each game of each match, pilot by pilot and hardly any squad would be willing to do all that work;
- the design was completely redone.
To start updating your squad's info on Squad Central, contact me.
Remember that Squad Central is supposed to be a meeting point to all squad pilots, meaning you. Use it at your discretion.
