Dear Novalogic,

I would purchase future Novalogic games if you supported Comanche 4 and didn't require the community to fix the problems:

http://www.deepstrikesquadron.com/autoexplode.htm

ID Software is releasing a new PR for a game older than Comanche 4 - Quake 3:

http://www.planetquake3.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Features&file=newpointrelease

The new version for Quake 3 prevents cheating.

ID Software cares about their reputation.

Since Comanche 4 is the flagship for the new "Delta Force: Black Hawk Down" engine, I highly suggest you continue support for it (Comanche 4) - directly - perhaps integrating a server check program (like Punk Buster or that trainer checker auto explode as mentioned above).

Does Novalogic care about its reputation? If people are aware that Comanche 4's cheats are not fixed are still exploited, and it requires a community effort to support the game - how will they be convinced that "Delta Force: Black Hawk Down". Novalogic should consider this - because reputation means everything in the gaming industry.

Thank you very much.

Was it too harsh?

Oops "how will they be convinced that "Delta Force: Black Hawk Down". .. that should = of.

I just played the beta version of Black Hawk Down and gotta say its a big improvement for NOVALOGIC, but I wonder in the back of my mind if they will toss this out to the public as an "in the works" type game and not take the time to really listen to the gaming worlds opinion and make the changes prior to releasing it, its an exceptionally good game though the beta has a lot of bugs, just hope NL fixes them and not just includes them with the final release. NL makes some excellent games but I do agree and think the general gaming public is getting a little frustrated with having to fix their own game just to play it properly.

I don't personally think it’s harsh. I’m just wondering if that little old lady who gets nine dollars an hour to sit in front of a computer day in and day out pressing the delete button on all our e-mails to NOVALOGIC is going to think its to harsh...hehehe.

Nice screenshot. I wonder if people will be able to control the vehicles in Black Hawk Down like they can in Comanche 4 - imagine a game that combines flight sim and FPS.

But yah, I was thinking that I CC'ed the message to a bunch of people it might matter.

I really dig this Comanche 4 game, it's the best flight sim I've played since Aces Of The Pacific and Crimson Skies.

I hope future games are made like it. :)

I agree with you [quiet] Comanche 4 is an excellent game and has a very good mission editor.

As far as Black Hawk Down goes this is the time to get in your opinions about the game while its in beta. At the point of exiting from the game to desktop there’s a URL that will lead you to a feedback page on-line, plus there’s a e-mail address for additional feedback if you desire. I suggest everyone use this and maybe with enough requests we might have a little pull for items in the final version.
