ok guys i know this is very simple for all of you ,but i'm only 13 cut me some slack
i would like to know how to download some maps ( i know where they are ) and where to put them so they actually work .....( comanche 4 ) thanks for all the help
Download them from this site....then unzip them into a temporary folder. Copy the files right click then click on copy, paste them into your c4 folder. The maps will appear in your mission files.

ok i done that ...but at the end of all the map it
won't cycle back to the first map
it says < unable to load map > any help on that
Let me guess , it load to about 90% then trows you back to windows . This was happening to me with Mirage(novamap) , it would load ok when i selected it normaly , but when it tried to load it in the cycle , then i would get the same error. The only way i could get it back was either
1st , try to copy c4odata.pff from your commanche cd into your main c4 folder (overright) the orig , and try that , all the mission map files are in that file
2nd. if it is still having the same prob reinstall the game (make a backup of your c4plyr.sav file as this has all your stats and assigned keys in it) then after reinstalling , copy the c4plyr.sav file bake into the main c4 folder)
I assume that it a normal nova map your having trouble with cause you say it throughs u out when it goes back to the start . If it is a downloaded map you are having probs with , get a hold of the author.
Hope this helps

If your downloading user made maps from this site, the best way to use them is to un-zip them to your comanche4 directory. You may know all this but I will explain in step just incase. Once you've downloaded them to the Comanche4 directory (C:\Program Files\Novalogic|Comanche4) you start the game, select single player then next screen at the bottom it will say Archive. Click that and then Ok. This will take you to the screen that will list all the mission you un-zipped. With this method you'll have to select each mission individualy, they will not cycle to the next automaticly.
