ive allways felt this way even before this cancer with my son . it dosent matter who you are where you come from and what god you pray to . we as in human being's are all brothers and sister's and are mother is this planet we call Earth. the power's that govern all being's has seen to it that my son has the best from around the world he has at least 9 different nationality's on is surgical team .we have budhist's working along side muslium's and unsure duder from india working along side a duder from pakistan and duder from iran working along side americans and chrisain's. hello wake up the problem with this world now is humans not all but good majority have lost touch. touch with themselve's , thus creating hate hate is a very powerfull word . wars are fought because 1 religion hate's another but yet the religion's claim they love and are right . wake up it's all the same only the name's are changed and worded to suite the culture's they are in . and when all of the ppl in this world acknowladge this , we as humans can begin to live in the peace and harmony that all the different religion's claim there is . wake up

Wow, never expected such deep stuff on this site. I do concur however, we all pray to same God. Any self respecting spiritual(religious) person does know that.
So it s all about power(read money).

Ed,
The revelation of your child's cancer is a shocker to me...Thoughts and prayers for you and yours there....
As for organized religion and choices of leadership....I grew up with, and therefore relate, to Christianity... But over the years, I have begun to wonder about the wisdom of allowing man to continue to offer his 'heartfelt apologies' for falling short of his leader's qualities... and expecting forgiveness. Seems to me that is the Crux of the issue... religion is being constantly used as a 'matter of the heart'... Keep the simple and sensible arguments as far away as possible, threaten people with a hell beyond reason, offer them a heaven that exceeds their capabilities - and you get the 'following' to 'aquire' what you wish..
About the only way I could rationalize the 'futility' of being part of the crowd that 'followed' Jesus was to come to the following two conclusions...
First, that every time that Christ said the word " I, " (such as " I am the...") He was referring to the Spirit that lived within him...not himself..
Second, that what mankind refers to as God is no more..(and definitely no less) than the 'collective soul' of each and every human...
Just my twopence... :cool2:
Again, Best wishes Duder to you and yours..
