Hi and Help!

I have just created a heli waypoint run in a DFBHD map.

The actual map battlefield is enclosed within a walled area. Outside of this walled area (accessed by climbing over the wall using strategically placed ladders) is a Black Hawk heli.

The idea is that someone can climb the wall, access the black hawk, which will then take off and do a single circuit of the perimeter wall giving the occupant the chance to attack ground forces from the air.

The heli is activated by a trigger point and will return to it's start point after one circuit, after which it will reset if the occupant is still on board.

Everything is working like clockwork apart from the helicopter's altitude. I cannot, it seems, adjust the flying height to fly higher than the wall.

The heli will take off, climb to a height just below the top of the wall, fly erratically up and down by a few feet as it tracks each waypoint, and land at the final waypoint.

I need it to do exactly what it is now doing, but higher and more stable. Any ideas please?

Cheers.

Cornish Pasty.

Welcome Cornish. Are we talking about a single player map or multiplayer ? Right after takeoff, you have to have the Blackhawk 'Follow Waypoint'. Also, if I remember correctly, you have to chose the right Blackhawk text file to follow your instructions. Click on your item's attributes to edit them when it is selected in the MED.
