Hey guys/gals, I recently reinstalled c4 and my X52 (non-pro) no longer works. It does work with every other game, just not c4.
I have tried uninstalling reinstalling the game and drivers 3 times and still no joy.
Any thoughts or ideas what the malfunction may be?

I wish I could help. I saw this last week, but was going to see if anyone offered some help. I wish that the community wasn't dead.
I know this is unrelated, but I have NEVER been able to run SLI and play C4. The terrains go bonkers. Anyhoo, sorry I can't help.

Thanks for the reply Blue, it is a shame the community has died off. As for SLI, I cant be any help there either. I remember some old friends updating their computers with dual video cards and having the samr issue you seem to have. The only fix was to disable SLI. My only guess would be that the game engine was not advanced enough to handle it.
This is a little off topic too, but if you want to do some flying with some games that does take advantage of your hardware, have a look at some of the things over at digital combat simulator. Lots of cool stuff in the works right now, even a free beta that will get you in the air in a single player or online. Great community too.
Hope to see ya there!

Make sure you have 'Use a Joystick' clicked in the C4 Options Page

Well I was able to get it working again but it was a bit of a process...
First, I had uninstalled the software/drivers. Then went into the registry and did a search for saitek and x52 and deleted all of those keys.
Next I opened up the C4 folder and deleted the .cfg and .sav files.
Ran registry cleaner from ccleaner.
Reinstalled the joystick software/drivers.
Fired the game up, set my options and it worked.
I suspect that something in the registry was corrupt and that may of been the cause of my problems.
Hope this helps someone who may be having the same issue.
