Comanche 4 MFD "Enemy Targets look always damaged?"

I played the unpatched and the patched game and after I installed the latest patch, I was irritated that the MFD always shows all enemy targets in a damaged (destroyed) condition, also enemy helicopters.
I found an old Forum thread from 2002. Novalogic wanted to fix the Problem, apparently they never did.
So it seems I have to ignore the glitch, or has anyone an idea to fix it?

Yes, that IS the case - and it is annoying. They fixed the problem with BHD (a later version of Comanche's Game Engine). If I remember correctly, it has to do with the naming conventions while building the models - and would have required them rebuilding and offering the models as an update. I will verify and post that for you later tonight after I take the 'boss' out for a valentine dinner. :)
