Comanche 4 Expansion Pack V8.1 does not work!! C4.exe startup crash

I tried to install and use C4 EXP. I installed the terrain pack, but i can not run the game. all EXE files do not work and keep crashing.
I figured out when i overwrite the c4odata.pff with the C4 EXP version the game does not work anymore.
I use win7x64Sp1.

I am looking into this. I am using the MOD and have no problems. Are you using the 'fixed' EXE ? If so, which version ?

I tried v1.0.1.15 / V.1.0.1.20 EXE. I also tried the original EXE per ISO Daemon Tools, but it makes no difference. :no:

I can confirm this error with a fresh install with an expansion install.. It is a file problem. I am making some adjustments and will upload the file again.
