Nile was half finshed, unsupported beta version garbage,
most mission events were not set using it.
Most mappers used .wac script, and only used Nile to
place objects on the terrain.

Nile does have real world view, but that is the only advantage over a med.
It did not support group triggers and various other commonly used mission
triggers, crashed, scrambled way points and was very unreliable.
Using WAC was much faster and easier to check for mistakes.
Nile was such a mess A player coded a utility to use with Nile to fix some of the
map problems Nile created.

No med was released for JOTR, The DFX med was used to map JORT once it was released.
Complete mission creation events are available to setup using it.
By using the med and .wac script combined you are able to create any map
or mission you can think of, it is much easier to understand, more stable and in
general works much better.

Dear Admin,

Thanks very much to reply me, and let me know about the limitations of Nile
I dont have this med mission editor, if you know where i can download I will be grateful
and one tutorial how to work with AI AND WAYPOINTS (because is what interest me is play with bots offline and not really "create a map" but put the ai on map in different ways and get them have different reactions and use the waypoints to make the ai walk etc).

if is not possible to help me, find tutorials for begginers how to make a first map
but focusing on AI AND WAYPOINTS STUFF, i appreciate your answer anyway!

Checkpoint delta is a great place, and i am happy to be here!

Most sincerely

William
