Man I miss this place. Just so hard to spend the time doing anything remotely related to gaming with being an adult now with all the little responsibility's that go with the position...who ever made up the rule that you had to get older and grow out of things you were fond of is just not okay in my book.

Anyway, hello to Blue and all those of you who still sneak a looksee on this site like I do.
P.S. Miss you Paul.

It's sad how fast the traffic in here has turned from low to almost zero in a very short time... :(

You're not older than you feel... I'm getting older each day, but I refuse to grow up, lol... That's why I'm still playing and modding DF2...

This place is nothing more than a labor of love. Paul and I had discussions in which he suggested closing it down and moving on with our lives. This was never an option for me. I have made arrangements for it to continue in the event I cannot do it. While the site is essentially turning into nothing more than a museum, I believe that to be a worthwhile role.

I also miss Paul, but I also miss everyone else that was here and left - some because of me. LadyHawke, Ed and Rot - to name a few. Nearly 10 years ago - CPD would see an average of 25 members pass through here every day. While I do not have the people skills that Paul had to keep people interested in hanging out with us - I think Novalogic deserves part of the blame.

DF Barracks is gone. NovaHQ hasn't posted any News since April. The only News DFArena has posted since April is about BF3. Delta Force Reload - probably the busiest DF site in the community now - is not managing much more that a couple of posts a week in their forums. The community is dying a slow death.

I need to work on the download section to finish moving it over to an sql based download section - otherwise, I am leaving the site alone and letting it be a place for people to come back and reminisce on 'the old days'. Enjoy it.

Maybe one day Nova will give us something to talk about again..
