Its a hoot - and embarrassing. This thread was edited (http://web.archive.org/web/20020622070058/www.checkpointdelta.com/html/menu.html) ( Checkpoint Delta Forums » Comanche 4 Discussion » Drawing our Own Maps, Vehicles or Objects )
- heavily - because I got fed up with Rustinsk and started smarting off at him. Little did I know at the time - but Rustinsk was Anthony - who was Paul - the owner of CPD.
Long story short - Charger PM's me and tells me that maybe I should really try to be nice - making every attempt to make peace. I apologized, agreed to lose the attitude and delete my replies where I was going off on Rus - and we would all get along.
As is probably obvious - we did. I have never had a better internet friend. He was one of a kind.

For old times sake I figure'd I'd just bring a really old post back to life for no reason other than to just do it.

As for me, playing other games. Doing other things but for the most part pretty content. Love looking at the old site posts and how things have changed a lot since then. Sometimes its amazing how CPD is still here. Its like it suppose to be regardless if Nova is gone and most of us are doing other things. Its good we can at least keep contact now and again.
Just bought ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead to be able to play DayZ mod. I think we could have done the same thing with Delta Force if someone had come up with the idea to do Zombies. Its all in good fun though. :smokin.gif:

I occasionally work on a map, but only when asked and/or want to escape reality for a few. I got into second life for awhile about 5 or 6 years ago. Some people call that a game. You can build and code inside the 'game' and sell your creations to make game money - which you can in turn exchange for real money. So except for occasionally dropping into SL to catch up with old friends, keeping this site up and the little bit of mapping - I don't do anything. With a 2 and 5 year old in the house I just love grabbing a nap when I can.
What are you doing these days Watkins ? Working in computers ?
