Easy VPN Server

Download and install EasyVPN (http://www.comodo.com/home/download/download.php?prod=easyvpn).

After you register and get in - Search for and join the comanche4 network. The password is freedomfighters.

You can double click on that network and a window will pop up. You should be able to chat with anyone online at the time.

Start your C4 game. Go to multiplayer. Chose LANIP. Search for Game. Join Game.

It is that easy.


OH YEAH... someone has to be hosting a game for you to join and play..

Just remember to shut down all firewalls & to join game use the c4lan.exe file located in the c4 folder to start the game!

I know this works, but what I am finding out is that some people just can't serve. I appear to be one of those people. It could be anything from a firewall to a router to a Windows 7 network issue for me. I will work on it when I can. I will also attempt put one of the old windows xp computers on the network to serve. Sorry, I will be gone for most of Saturday and Sunday.

I think we got the server problems sorted. I will open a server at night, when I can. It will be called Checkpointdelta. If you can't find the server using C4LAN, try using the full version. I personally have to alternate when I leave a server - I can't explain why.

As far as I can tell, the game plays very smooth with up to 4 players. I would like to see a few more to see how it plays.

On a side note: Apologies to Terminator who was thoroughly whooping my butt before I punted him tonight while experimenting with the server. Sorry Duder.
