I hope so buddy. If Nova doesn't start producing... we are going to sub forum their games (except for C4) and get on with life here. I'm thinking we should pair off for a couple of nights on a demo... like me and you or wildman and you or other members here and start blogging the lowdown on some new games...
We have of years of playing among all of us. Would make decisions easier if we had some some thumbs up or down. It just may be time to get out of the Nova rut they are leaving us in. DFAF better show everyone something - because some of these games are rendering a gaming experience close to reality.

The sad truth is the old games just do not have enough players left to keep the community active, DFAF better be good and Nova had better advertise or their toast. I think many of us liked the older games better than the other stuff that was out at the time.
They don't even need to have the best graphics to pull in new players, but they better have good game play and support, both items lacking in the last 2 releases.
I have played newer games as they came out over the years, the game play just didn't appeal to me as much as the game play the older games Nova released did.

Reaper this may be to your liking, and it could solve any confusion about which servers are running which mods....
im attaching a startup file, you want to pay attention to the third link down on it inside C4.....:naughty.gif:
Novaworld and there logins will soon be no longer required. and i believe that also invalidates the need for a account with a cd key.
the list is viewable outside of C4 as well by visiting this URL:
http://nw.graebtech.com/
requires no edits to the servers, only the startup file is nessicery on clients, for the moment servers are added to mysql manually for PHP to grub off of.
work in progress. the end result would be to have a tiny app on the server machines, simular to the host manager or maybe even include this in the host manager, that will read the Map, player count, timeleft, etc from the server and pass it to the lister php script every 20 seconds.....
the php/mysql part is working, just needs cleaning up and fine tuning.....
At the very least, this will give us more options for server browsing, a field can be added to tell which mod is in use on the server, and pretty much anything else that can be reaped from the server by host manager or whatever tool ends up being the one!
or as long as the PHP can tell which map is running it can lookup which mod that is for and list it accordingly!

Oh...aha...theres no "edit" option down there, good one.
I often check out what games are around and play what demo's I can so I would love to take part in this.
