Heard this great commercial today. Goes something like this. (Not exact wording)
Man’s voice: “I was cooking and fell asleep. When I woke up the place was engulfed in flames. But before I could call for help I was over taken by the fumes and passed out. But thanks to (Company that specifies in home security and smoke detectors), they made the call for me and saved my life.”
Hmm…I don’t know about you but I always put stuff on the stove and then go lay down and accidentally fall asleep.
Why just the other night I lite a cigarette and set it down in the trashcan and went to take a shower. But thank the lord my dog like’s to pee in the trashcan or I’d be dead right now.
…and that time I parked in my garage closed the door and forgot to turn the motor off…I had a headache for a week with that one.
Here’s my version of the same type of incident.
Man’s voice: “I was driving my car today and fell asleep behind the wheel. Just before I woke up I took down five mailboxes, killed two old ladies and then broad sided a school bus load of preschoolers, but thank God for airbags, they saved my life.”
