I know I'm new so PLEASE forgive me if you guys already know about these files and how they work/install.
As most of you guys know i was having trouble with my Steam version of C4 and the NO NAME issue. In this file you will find 3 items a detailed Tx file explaining how to and make it work and the 2 Start up files.
So pass it along to the people that are having trouble with the NO NAME Issue. Maybe Sticky it...any questions PM me and shoot me your email so i can send it to ya if this attachment doesn't load up.
Thanks again ALL

Can't test this as I don't have a Steam version of the game, but I will pass it on if the need arises.
Thanks for sharing!

Hey Blue, where was this fix moved to?
I was hoping to point some of the people having this issue to the fix you guys had here.

MaddWolf Edited his thread 5 months later. I have no idea what has happened to it.

Bummer. If memory serves me correctly (rare these days) steam users needed to replace their .htm file(s) and one of the .dll files. I may just buy the game again through steam and play around with it. I think its only 10 bucks now a days.
Thanks for looking Blue.

I also tried everyone on the FB network. Except for it being files. That's all we got. Not the actual files.

Well, after playing with it, you need the original ibrowse.dll. It makes the loading page look awful, but at least your name appears. For those downloading the game now - let me offer the original ibrowse.dll for download. Please backup a copy of your old one before using. Thanks.

The text issue on the game lobby is not the ibrowse, its a font setting in Windows, any op system after Windows 98 had the problem.
If you reset font clear type to standard you will be able to read the lobby as normal.

You know Reaper, this is why you are the man, and I'm simply a wannabe (like Charger). I got rid of truetype and boom. I could read it again. Thanks bud.
