Well, this is as official as I think it can get. Nova is getting ready to release a game. This is the splash on the Novalogic (http://www.novalogic.com) Link.

Nova was working on a title a while back called The Unit. From my understanding that has turned into this new one.

I've also noticed they have changed the name recently too. The first time I saw the splash screen it was titled Delta Force Black Ops.

Maybe they realized that Black Ops was used on some of the mods for BHD.

I don't know, maybe its me but the cover looks like its from the fifty's...course I can remember the fifty's. :rolleyes:

My father was a kid in the 50's and i was born in 71.

anyway as far as i can tell they are doing a remake of DF2 in south america(notice it ghosted in the pic). hopefully with modern weapons and such. most likely a SP campaign concerning drug lords, and a generic in the desert. in other words same ole DF game different title hud and graphics.

no issues here, ill buy 3 as soon as they are available to do so regardless.

I think they just changed the name cause they didn't want the new game to get confused with Obama's runnin for president.

I was joking...I just barley remember the sixty's (LOL) Anyway wish they would show more about it. I'm curious but I'm guessing its just going to be a re-hash of the same old game - something Nova's good for. Would be nice if they would come up with something a little more modern in the way of graphics and design.

I think it's suppossed to be a different game engine. Would be nice if it is. But going by the screen shots that came out for The Unit it looks like the grphics could be pretty decent. It's going to have to be if they want to compete with COD4 and the other newer games out now.

I guess by todays standards Nova's games are pretty simple but they still had a fun factor, its just to bad Nova didn't keep up with their games. I think they could make a decent come back with a few new titles and some hardcore support. I know I'm a dreamer but I'm still waiting for a C5 or something like it in the way of helicopters. :)

I think it's great they're coming out with something new , but will they wait until it is all the way finished before they release it ? :rolleyes:

Anyone hear anything new about Nova's "coming soon" title... I've been looking around for anything on it and nothings come up.

This image appeaered briefly on the nova load page and then was replaced with the Angel Falls again.

Your kidding ! Dude, I've been playing this for 2 months now. Its awesome... 10x better than COD4... 20x better than ANY BF game.

Sorry bud. They must not be shipping north of the Mississippi yet....

At the rate they are putting this game out... I'm hoping my social security will be enough to let me purchase it...
