1st time for me on this one, got a player that can not log into Nova. He has re-installed 2 or 3 times. He can play single-player with no problems. Starts game ok, Multi player ok, logs in ok, server list ok, then when he clicks on a server it goes to the next blue screen then locks up, then he has to ctrl, alt, delete back to the desk top. Any one got any help?
There were a few having the same problem a short while ago.

Not sure what the problem is but you can get around it by using the Log In Bypass which you can download from here.

Just replace the existing file thats in your C4 folder with this one and your ready to go.

Hey thanks RAB but tried that already, what its doing is c4 locks up after clicking on a server, just shows a blue screen, then he has to ctrl-alt-delete to close c4 and get back to the desk top.
Oh OK. Not sure what would be causing that. I'm having problems geeting it to work for somebody myself. I've got one of the CTE guys that was wanting to play and it won't run for him. It will run using the C4LAN exe but not the regular game. He clicks the icon and nothing happens. It still shows the proccess running in his task manager though. Hard to keep an old game alive when it won't run for some of the people wanting to try it.

Wasn't there an ibrowse.dll update that fixed this ? That one...or one of the others. Had something to do with a security issue.
Yes there is an Ibrowse.dll update. You can get it here.

It's the first one in the Misc. Updates list. And it does handle the connection between your game and Novaworld so it might fix your problem Red.

Thanks for the help.
He bought that game new and if this is what is happening to any one who buys this game now, its no wonder we have no new players. If you can not find some one that still plays C4 you can just about forget it.
