My choppers are going in circles

I have one chopper. it goes to one way point then I way redirct it to another way point. but it just wants to fly a round in circles

Any ideas

Its either you have your waypoint markers to far apart or to close I can't remember which. Also re-check you waypoint list and make sure all the markers are numbered from 0 to leading up in sequence to the highest number - the list should be 0,1,2,3,4,5, etc. you know what I mean.

Also check you distance box in the waypoint list in you waypoint attributes to make sure its not under default of 10.

All suggestions I might add - let us know if you figure it out or not.

I believe if you have you markers to close and have no ending event for the chopper to do it might just circle.

Ok, I played a round with it some more. It's speed. Start out your choppers with a speed of 45. before they get to the waypoint they are to get redircted to another way point. slow the speed down to 20mph, then redirct them to the waypoint for the landing. works cool

Does any one know how to use the AI state to Return to base. How does that work.

Return to base dows not work, Set another way point list and redirect the helo to it after the helo meets the event to return to base.

That doesn't make any sence. If it doesn't work, why add the option. I'll have to send Zac an email on that one, can you tell me what a mission file is *.rc
