I thing I have some thing wrong with this file. Can any one conferm the size of the file after doing a large install.

df2.pff 7-21-2000 @ 135,196kbs

I still can't get chairs in my maps show up when in play. And some buildings I place just crash df2 w/ sysdump.txt error

Is there a way at add to this file. or edit it. or any mods for df2 available.
that will update this file.

any help would be great

UPDATE:

I just match the df2.pff file to the one on my cd. and I couldn't beleave this.
The file saze on my hard drive is 158.196 megs and the one on the cd has a size of 1,581,953gigs. SO now I know where the proble is. I try to copy the df2.pff file over to replace tha bad one and I get a error of

( can't copy df2: the parameter is incorrect. )

So that means that the install program didn't error out when it couldn't copy all of the file over to the hard drive.

So check your file sizes people, Thats more then likely whats causing the sysdump.txt error

The pff file on the CD is only used by the install process... Don't mind the size of it... The correct size of the installed pff file should be around 158 MB, so you shouldn't need to worry...

I'm not very familiar with hell, so can't help you... If you move over to MMH, though... :wink1:
