I'm having a time trying to figure out how to work the area triggers and events to get my boats or BlackHawks to wait untill someone gets on to take off through their waypoints. As soon as map starts, they take off. Can someone take me through the steps?

BHD and BHDTS, sorry, should have mentioned this earlier. What are the SSN for (players). What would be the (if and (then)? What would be the (if and(then) at the last waypoint? Let me explain what I'm trying to do, I'm making a map with the "zoo" terrain, I'm wanting to have a patrol boat (1 for each side) circle the island once a player boards it, then stop at the end of the lap till the next one boards.

Ummm... What kind of map is this ? Is it TDM or COOP ?
It sounds like you'll really need to consider 'groups' as the way to identify the player - and area triggers (not waypoints) to be the way to trigger the events - except for the boats.
If this is a coop, try setting the waypoints for the start and finish of the boats in the same place. Put your area triggers in a small area around the boat's docking point. Have the boats' start event be when the 'blue group' triggers the area trigger.
If someone doesn't beat me to it, I'll write a quick example after work and post.

OK Taz. A Running Example for a TDM. Sloppy but simple. Crank up a LAN TDM and try it out.
The textfiles for the boats were changed to a small craft that turns tight corners (Zodiac). Those boats are notorious for being clumsy and missing waypoints.

how do I view this?
Unzip the file. Put the boatevent.mis and boatevent.bms in you Black Hawk Down folder. The boatevent.bms will run in the game so you can see how the event works in game. The boatevent.mis file you can open in the med editor so you can see how the event is set up.

Thanks alot! I did that, I'm trying to do this with the Iranian patrol boat and it's still not working. Does it only work with the little wooden boat?

Yes, it works with the Iranian Patrol Boat. You HAVE to change the textfile to the Zodiac. And since that boat will be taking fire since it is mounted with guns - make it indestructible.
