You try lowering the chopper's Z value ?

As a suggestion - I worked with a fast-roper in one of my BHD maps. I had this similar problem, where the rope was somewhat above the ground. It looked crappy cause the AI had to drop a few yards to the ground.
It's been a while and I don't know if I'm explaining this just right. A few things can alter where the chopper hovers, especially if you set your z-values to the right height and the chopper happens to fly over a hill or mountain as it comes in for a hover - this sometimes changes the exact z-value of the chopper.
The best way I found was to get the chopper to come in near the flattest part of land before it hovers - where the z-value of at least two or three way-points are the same height as the final way-point or trigger where the chopper was going to stop and hover.
I'm not sure if this makes sense as I said I haven't messed with the editor for a long time but maybe this will help, it may not.

As always Charger , you hit it right on the money, I had the same problem and using a flat area for the incoming hover is what worked for me.:1drink.gif:
I've been having this problem for the last few days. I've been playing on the "flat" map. Only my guys drop about 20 feet down to the ground. I'v screwed around with Z, but I can't get the helo to go lower.
I also cant get them to rope correctly. They all go out at the same time.
Ok, I figured it out: On the events menu, change the choppers AI to "use waypoint z". This means that it will follow the waypoints on not only the X and Y settings, but the X, Y, and Z settings.
Hope that fixes your problem.
