updating question

I was thinking I had read about this in a previous thread, but cant find it so I need to ask a question,
I had to reformat my whole system recently, reinstalled windows, everything working good now. So I was reinstalling and updating my games and I'm having trouble with the updates. Blackhawk Down updated fine, but Land Warrior and TFD both quit about 3/4 way through update. I get a little window that comes up and says "421 timeout (120 seconds)" and "421 terminating connection"
Then I get a window that says to correct the problem and then try updating again. I am running windows xp and have plenty of free space. Any Idea what the problem might be that needs correcting?
I dont have a clue myself, Anyone else ever ran into this?

I've had problems when updating at times. When I reinstall now I just go to the update section on the Nova site and download the update from there. Then you don't have to worry about loosing an internet connection while installing.
