Let me start out by saying, I made my post at Nova (for whatever good that will do). And I have to say that I have played on that server in the past few weeks, and it is far from perfect (but it is a good start). I, like you, like the NEW scoring system, but it has its flaws. To those of us that like this game there is NOTHING worse that a suicide death. (I think we are on the same page here) . But while playing on that server, i did notice that if you get killed, and you are close to something ie, the ground, a mountian, trees, etc.. it will record your death, and also right under it , it will say so and so "got tired of life". That sucks, because it makes it look like you took a dive, and MOST of us hate that. This doesn't happen every time, but it is annoying, i think it may have to do with your wreckage coming into contact with something before it has a chance to score your death, not sure. Like I said earlier, I put in "my 2 cents" :lol: with Nova, and hopefully, everyone else will. And your right Inso, "Those of us with the BALLS to fly like MEN" would welcome this on any server.

This isnt new. nova had it before. They just started using it again. I wish they would put it in a pach so we could all get it. Viper goes into this alittle on his web page. here it is for any of you to check it out.

I also think that the new scoring system was used a while back. i seem to remember playing on a server where suicides counted against you. it is definantly a step in the right direction. i have sent my form to nova, now i guess we wait for someone to get a responce.....

hey whats up, and then guess what
this server is not new!!! its been there since umm.. let me see before i started playing the game and that is the begging of January 2002, now with that said the other thing is that when you die it double counts, this is not cool, it does it most of the time, it says the person killed you and then you killed yourself. this is not hard to make a server like this if anyone wants to try, you have to make a map and put in the codes, player dies (-1), it has the option, you can just open the stock maps and edit them if you like but its still gonna have the same bug it has had for about umm.. im guessing since the game came out!!
