I got bored and run out of things to do in WoW (World of Warcraft) so I quit playing it.

Planet Side is kicking back off a little bit...but I really looking foward to Huxley coming out in the fall of this year or some where around there hopefully by christmas :)

Anyhow, I Was bored milling around and found the like to CPD. I can't find the like to any of clans from C4 of all the guys and gals I used to game with there.

Any one got any links for:

DIE, CAS, or APS? there were a few more I can't remember off the top of my head though.

I'm trying to figure out how to turn that off. It's a free board so I may not be able too. One of the guys in the community was running a Geeklog site for us but he took it down, so I had to cowboy up and try to remember what I could about html and php and go to town. Bad part is I can't have access to the phpnuke files so my hands are kinda tied.

Good news is the people hosting my stuff offer a pretty cheap paid hosting service...so I might just get nuke and host it myself, as you can tell I'm redirecting it to the getphpnuke site from the forums.

Obviously I paid for the domain, but I didnt buy a plan with the hosting service yet I just took thier free 50meg one...which thats who it is 50megs.com. I was trying to host my sound as you can probably see from another site and I cant find one that will let me host the mp3 that I want to <embed> on my site...you would'nt happen to know of one if there is one that I can do that at would ya?

Hey Reaper, I really don't use yahoo anymore I use the ventrilo server that we have. If you register you'll be able to see the ventrilo configuration Information thread ...and you can hop on there and let me know when your gonna be doing some flying if i'm on. If I'm not on and they ask who you are tell them that "Cope said you all could use it" I'm helping pay for it and its a 50 man server. I might make a Comanche 4 thread if I start playing it some. I'm really wanting Huxley to be out...Man that is going to be a super game!

Anyone seen slapshot? or Dee? and them. I was gonna try to get on here and give all them a shot too. What happened to APS? Thier site is down too.

You have to pay... or play with their banners and roadblocks... sorry duder. Take a look at ultrasurge.com or bluehost.com. I use them both.

As far as turning off the obscured code number for login, I can't because it is a Free phpnuke site and I dont have access to the files to edit them. I would be able to turn off thier adds and such. So I'm kinda limited with what I can do with it.

But hey, its free and it looks good, and serves its purpose...so I can't complain to much hehe.:wink1:

OK, let me get this straight. You are paying for the webhosting and you don't have access to your server ? PHPNuke is free everywhere - but you don't have access to phpnuke's control panel ? If you are the Administrator of the site, you should have access to your control panel...no questions asked. That is BS duder. I'd get my money back and go elsewhere ...just my opinion...sorry.

Yeah I have access to the Control Panel, Administration Tools, but there is no where to turn off that secure login thing.

I'm hosting the Intro page on 50megs.com, the phpnuke is not hosted there, its hosted at getphpnuke.com on thier server and no I dont have access to the phpnuke files our I could just edit the code and cut it out.

The easycompanycomunity.com is a domain I bought from 50megs.com and all i'm hosting there is the Intro page and the URL Redirect page to the nuke site. There I have access to the FTP and I can access any file there host images music whatever...up to a 50 meg limit,2gb bandwidth,and max upload file size of 5mb.

The getphpnuke hosts the phpnuke site, and I dont have access to the files on thier server. Its just a free phpnuke board site. Other than logging on to the admin of the phpnuke site, but there is no where to turn it off no options block to click and select or nothing about it whatsoever. I've been all through that thing nothing cant turn it off.

But the upside is it is more secure and prevents Automated logins to some extent and such. Its really not all that bad. Just annoying at times.

Thats what I have access to on the phpnuke site. no FTP access on that site.

I can't download the config.php file/edit it/ then upload it back. I'm not hosting the phpnuke on my webspace which is

There is no option under preferences, moduels, or blocks that will allow me to edit the config file to get rid of that. I dont think. This is my first time dealing with phpnuke so I'm not sure ...I have talked with a few people that know alot about it and they have told me that I need to have access to the files so that I can edit them myself from "Script" or "Code". And that is not an ability that I have in this case. I can only access the control console I can edit some of the blocks with script or code thats how I got my links in the block on the bottom right. but they have some of the options turned off in the prefrences I belive. I cant even direct the path that I want it to search for the Images on like "Topic Images" and wat not.

Like I said this is free, so I cant complain to much. It looks nice and its pretty cool. once I learn a little more about phpnuke I'll probably just buy it and host it myself on my webspace with my own MySQL DB and such. For now I'm really just tooling around with it. lol:wink1:
