Which game?

...the game he's asking about... geez, duder - how hard can this be ?

Try a different editor or manually setting the timer in the mission file (using notepad). Then re-open the file again in the MED (don't save it as a .mis again) and export only the bms.

A med means, Mission Editor.

Oh Okay..the rate of fire on the AI does not work. It never did and it never will unless you know how to change the hardcode in the program.

Part of the reason I think that is because theres no real need to change the rate of fire for the AI because your just flying a Comanche and technically everything on the ground should be passing by fast enough for you not to get hit by anything anyway. Changing the rate slower or faster wouldn't make that much of a difference to be truthful.

btw Bt, Whats a Doctor?...I get my MEDS from my Psychiatrist!

Dude... I'm telling you ..this works.

...manually setting the timer in the mission file (using notepad). Then re-open the file again in the MED (don't save it as a .mis again) and export only the .bms.

The time you are wanting to change is called advancetimer in the .mis file.

I tried this just to be sure - and you can also save the .mis in the MED..without it changing back to 10 if you manually edit the .mis file and save it in notepad first.
