No LAN play without NovaWorld

Well it seems you can't even play a LAN game without first logging into NovaWorld! Seeing as I dont even have a net connection on the machines I play LAN games on, this is pretty poor.

security m8... cracks down on piracy... better if ya ask me... i mean novaworld dont put all that effort into makin these games to get ripped off and not get the money they deserve because of illigitimate copies of the game just my opinion but i reckion they should do it to all games and put the punk buster for wolfenstein enemy territory on them... banning me for having noobular as my name lol

Well yeah, I can see why they do it, but it is very annoying. I do not have an internet connection in the place where I have my lan games, so therefor I cannot play this game multiplayer. A key protection system, where you go to an internet connection, log into novaworld, input your CD key, and download an activation file for the game.... now that would be cool.
