Hi. I dont have an AGP slot in my computer, only PCIs. Is JOTR says that an AGP graphics card is required to operate. Is this true, or can you operate with a PCI graphics card? I allready opened the game so its too late to take it back. Please help.
Thanks

Since AGP came out years ago... I'm wondering what kind of system you are running. Set all the settings to their lowest settings (if the game will install) and try. It is a nice looking game, you should consider spending a little money on an upgrade.

I got it about one year ago...Its your basic E MachineT2542. Its 2.5 GHz 768 Mb Ram. It sucks that it didn't come with the AGP. The thing is that I don't have any video card right now. I don't want to buy a card if it's not gunna work.:2gunsfiring_v1.gif:

All you can do is to install it and try, I guess. But without enough video memory and video processing power... it might lag on higher settings.

I had to ship my ATI 9600 XT back to their RMA shop, they suggested some setting changes in the BOIS, increasing volts, increasing the apature setting but it still locked up on me for C4/DC.Had to re-boot into safe mode than the driver would load.So I'am back to my old betsy Msi Ti 4200. OMG is it slow :spanka.gif: The tech from ATI made the comment that my power supply was on the low side 300 Watts which from there experince can cause
flucuations to the card, :loser1: Couple guys in the sqad got that hot rod
ATI X850, I'am drooling boys,
