How can you make your Rescue aircraft or yourself invulnerable? (Single Player)

Background: I am building maps for study of aviation pyschology, not for cheating purpose. So in order to prevent aircaft for being destroyed pre-maturely, I have to set to invulnerable mode. I tried using "supra-heli" but it doesn't work... did I do something wrong?

Try setting items to blue team for single player you can still make every thing move around and they wont shoot at you. For what you posted you want to do that should work fine.

Hi Reaper,

that won't do, cause I need to manually count the numbers of shots (need to separate gun shots and missiles shot) taken by the aircraft through a Video camera playback.

My options are:
1)For Rescue helicopter, using Events if it is shot down, teleport a new one from somewhere to join up with my aircraft at a marker (check-point), which means a tedious work and a strings of events.

2)For My helicopter, using "supra heli", but it doesn't work.

Your help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

The cheat your trying to use doesn't work. The best I can give you is to go to coop host game and set the health to easy. Then go back to single player, that will give you 8hits instead of 3 so you can live longer maybe that will get you through so you can do the research.

Thanks reaper, I'll try when I back at my lab tomorrow.

Worst case, I'll have to set my AAA (SA6, SA8) to "guns" attributes, which is a pity cause they don't give out "missiles inbound" (high beep) alert tone.

I still hope they are other ways to keep my game as realistic as possible, and I am open to more suggestion.

I just checked the game, in order for you to set easy health you need to make the map as a coop, it wont work in single player.
If you let me know what the requirments are. I may come up with some other ideas. Are you counting shots at the rescue helo and you.? I'm kinda of in dark as to what you can do. And what you can't. As far as the mission goes.

Hi reaper, thanks for your effort in helping me.

Out of 6 experiments, 2 of them require the team (pilot and co-pilot) to be an armed escort (flying the comanche and escorting the blackhawk) in and out of the crash site, extracting the down-pilots.

The team are required to protect the aircraft from enemy fire, and also survived through the scene.

I will access the team through video playback:
1) The flight parameters (check deviation)
2) Kill to shot ratio
3) The communication in flight
4) Others: "Secondary task assessment"

Therefore, it is prudent that both aircraft cannot be killed in flight. As for counting the number of shots taken, only the comanche aircraft will be registered, as an account of the team's survivality. (Another reason because it is not possible to track the blackhawk helicopter all the time).

Hope the above helps, thank you once again.

If you can, I would set up as a coop.
Ok if the Black hawk wont be counted can you set it to green so it wont be targeted?. You can always change it's team to blue at any time with an event. Next use the coop easy health setting so you can take 8 hits. Set plenty of farps along the flight path you should be able to farp get your health back and move on enough to get the counting done and have both live through the test.
That's about the best I can come up with. Another thing if you are using sams they have a set number of shots they can fire at you. 3 I believe, you can even count them as they fire.
Hope that helps.

Thanks Reaper,

I will try out setting blackhawk to green. As for FARP, it will be disruptive to the game-play so I choose to eliminate that option.

When you say easy health, does that mean setting the game difficulty to easy? or I have miss something out?

Yes easy setting.
easy = takes 8 hits to kill you.
Normal = takes 3 hits to kill you.
