game save

when playing a single player mission downloaded from the map database, is there any way to get the F-11 game save key to work? I find that I'm not able to save my place in land warrior or Task force Dagger, however it does work in Blackhawk Down.
Is there any thing I can do or do I need to just try harder to get through in one piece? thanks!

The F5 key is the 'quick save' key in BHD.

Thanx for your reply, let me clarify my question though- the F5 game save key works on BHD; but, on land warrior and task force dagger the game save key is F11. it works fine when playing the missions that came with the game, but will not work when I'm playing any missions that I download from the map data base.
I'm only having this happen with land warrior and dagger,
the game save works good on BHD.
any ideas?

I contacted a LW and TFD 'guru' - hoping he will return an answer. I've yet to remember how or why this feature may or may not work - unless it is a missing *.bin file from the player missions we submit.
