Hi Guys,

some of you love em and more than likely most of you hate em. I have the UK version of DFBHD which has been updated to the latest version.

I haven't played the game for a while and was going through my games yesterday and thought let me give this a go - and I was loving it again.

So I searched online for cheats and found all the sites had the number and letter cheats i.e. 3CFE170C etc but for some reason the codes don't work. I have a Sony VIAO PC (not laptop) and my TIDLE (spelling) is next to the big enter button mid keyboard right side. When I press that I get the Enter Command screen come up and I enter the code then press enter again. Still the codes don't work.

I used to be able to play the game with the cheats but i'm starting to think that either :stupid2: or the codes don't work coz of my keyboard layout or the UK version is different to that of the rest of the god ****ed world - if that were the case I wouldn't be surprised.

Can you guys help me?

The truth is trevsue this sight doesn't communicate cheats of any type or form. We're strickly a well dedicated Resourse Center for Novalogic games and pretty much frown on the subject or "cheats". If we can be of service to you in any other way please feel free to post any time.

SHAME ON ALL OF YOU GUYS

The poor lad was taking about console commands installed in the 1st edition game by Novalogic for single mission mode and not for use with online gaming.

list of codes here http://cheats.gamespot.com/cheats.html?pid=561605#1

These codes wont work if you update the game. uninstall and reinstall the game and the codes will work again.

Somewhere on this site we've had this very converasation before...no matter what sort of cheat it was I remember we somehow came to the conclusion that this site wasn't posting any sort of cheat. My appologies but I was only acting in the best interest of CPD from a past discussion. My post still stands.

I don't think I've ever come across a game which hasn't got SP cheat codes built into them. They're put there by the developers for a reason, and I don't believe all of the developers simply have forgotten to disable them before the release. They're meant to be there. Most developers probably also have MP cheats enabled during the development phase, but those are disabled/removed before the release.

Now, that doesn't mean one has to support/encourage the use of SP cheats, or even help people asking about SP cheat issues. It's important to know the difference between cheating against oneself, and cheating against others, though.

Personally, I believe some of the SP cheats in Delta Force games can be very helpful for map making or modding purposes. That's probably why the developers put them there in the first place.

In some games, I also use them in certain parts which for some reason I find too tedious to having to play through a 100 times before making it... Or else, to figure out how some of the stuff was done by the map makers.

Sorry dude , i've been making maps awhile now and cheats have never been any part of it.. A cheat is a cheat , there is no good reason for them.. And yes the developers do use the cheats for making the game..If the game is to tedious to play without using cheats , then dont play it. ( Now, that doesn't mean one has to support/encourage the use of SP cheats, or even help people asking about SP cheat issues. It's important to know the difference between cheating against oneself, and cheating against others, thou. ) And show me a person that says they just use the cheats when playing it alone and not when they play multiplayer , and i'll show you a liar.
Sorry , I don't like cheats. Never have , never will..

Lol, is this for real...? You actually fail to spot the very important difference between ingame SP cheat codes (deliberately not removed by the developers), and 3rd party MP cheats/trainers (developed by people on the dark side)...?

Whatever reasons people have for using SP cheat codes, that's of absolutely no business to anyone else than themselves, so don't come here and moralize & accuse people whom you obviously have absolutely no knowledge about!

Okay...with that out of the way let's just end this conversation with a note that this has really nothing to do with personally preferance. The whole statement here is that this site doesn't agree with the posting of cheats, sp, multiplayer or whatnot. So before this thread gets quarantined or locked, lets just leave it at whether or not a person uses cheats, trainiers is their prerogative. We're just not interested in posting them on this site.

Were getting side tracked here.

The cheats in question are for the 1st edition thats it!

We are not taking about any other forms of cheats.

My children search the internet all the time looking for cheats for there ps2 games. and some PC games such as Sims2 wanting more money!

Now if a child visits this site 'lets say age 12' and asks "Do the the console commands work after the game has been updated?" '

Does he deserve to be flamed ? IMO its no he does not

I'm locking this thread this is the end of it. before it goes to far.
