I'm working on a COop mission with NILE and I can't seem to figure out how to make the AI act right. Every time I edit their properties and check active, then save and run the map, they don't attack or anything, just stand there and take rounds.

Then I go back into the map in NILE, and find that Blind, Cowardly, Active, and Indestructable are ALL checked. My friend has the same problem, but for some of his, only the Active box is checked for maybe 5 or 6 out of 40 enemies.

Another problem that I have is that I can edit everything fine in 2D and 3D, but once I put down waypoints, or a start point, or a PSP, NILE errors out and shuts down if I try to switch to 3D, or if I try to drop the object/marker in 3D. Anyone know anything about either of these two problems? I've got a million questions about what I can and can't do, and this is the first place I've been that seems to have some answers.

Part of the problem is that NILE is still a BETA version and alot of the functions are not activated properly just yet. To make AI react simple set their "TEAM" in object properties to "2" and set your "Player marker" to "1". De-select "active" because that feature isn't working yet either. They should try to kill you on sight at this point. Set your AI "Vision Range and "Max Attack Range" higher, upwards to 400/500, snipers even higher and they will probably shoot at you within a realistic range. Turn "Accuracy" down, I use 75 and they tend not to kill you on first shot. Experiment with the ranges. At this time waypoints are not active, something Nova is working on as we speak along with Events so in due time we should have full control over our maps...hope this helps.:cool:
