I have made a coop mission that works fine in
single player but will not let others join in cooperatively. Is it because of the map I chose
or wrong start player marker. Can you play coop
on single player maps in df2 ?

You should be able to have people play in your map providing you’ve checked “Cooperative” in General Information in the editor. You can have multi players with “player start marker” or even “blue player marker”, a good rule is to place a few markers near the starting point but you can have more then one player start on the same marker. Another thing is to make sure that when you’re hosting on-line that you have chosen to HOST a game and not just start it up in single player mode, which I’m sure you know the difference.:smokin.gif:

I tried the start blue team but it always puts you
in the middle of the map not where you put the
marker on s/p but still no multi and I have coop
checked in general info.

Maybe try sending your mission to ed and let him check it out for you would be you best bet.

Specify which game this is for if you repost information here.

1. If your mission is a coop mission then you should be using "Player Start Markers" just to make sure players will start in the right position.

2. Set your Items Attributes for that marker to (Blue Players), as apposed to green or red.

did you use or accidently check the snap to grid and make the grid big .then your placement will go to the nearest grid intersect not where you put or tried to put the marker.just a thought,it would explain y the marker isnt going where you try to put it.

i guess i missed this question, i'm sure it's been resolved by now.

the problem is the marker you are using, for a cooperative you should use the "start, player" marker, not "start, blue team"
