What Happened to AE ???

hey , I posted in "mods" a few days ago. AE has stopped working (assuming Inso's server is down ??) but haven't received a reply. Is any one else having this problem or just me ?

I have un and re-installed it a few times now,I go to start it up,
task manager shows it's running but I can't get it to show up
in my system tray??therefore I can't turn off or on:dance:

I'm pretty sure Inso's server or the server service for AE is down, but he must be on vacation or something

I noticed the same thing (AE's window does not show up and its icon does not show up in system tray). However, it still seemed to work when I put up a test "play and serve" server; when I went in 8h, I had 1h-damage.

I was able to turn off AE by going into task manager and ending the application.

The Game Enhancement Team (http://graebtech.com/scgi-bin/forum/YaBB.cgi?board=GET-4) is almost done in our project of a C4 Expansion, it will include a new AE version
that stops double, triple, quad counts when killed, it will not cause any of the previous errors AE had before.

Avenger is its author, and he has done an excellent job.

I am looking forward to the autopunt being released. If the current version is the one being used in cfs server, it seems to have fixed counts >2, and many double counts. However, I was still able to cause several double counts on myself. It seems to be mostly effective though, but I'm curious because it would be very helpful if you released a beta version so that some of the users (servers) could beta test it on (presumably) multiple platforms. Any chance that could happen within the next month ? I know some of you cats are in school, so if its not done by Sept. I could see it getting lost on the horizon. Is there anything we (the c4 community at large) can do to help you speed up testing ? Let me know cause I would be happy to post it on the league site if so.

I just started working on a C4GET 8H-AP. It will prolly be a barebones, Zer0 options version, with an Exp date, and no help file but some quick instructions for Servers..
Another new project is not what I need. But I'll try to step it up.

yeah, that is a nice server we have for DC. Havnet played DC since my game crashed about 8 mos ago ( I wanna get vietcong anyway) we are in a league in DC so I can't see us updating unless the league goes that way, but I don't know what Spike's got planned

Hey avenger, I was just reading back through the thread - I was under the impression that you guys had been working on the new 8h autopunt for months - how come its a "new" project ?
