RULES & REGULATIONS
To help you get started, we have provided some basic assets in a Web Design Kit . If you haven’t already downloaded it you can find it at www.jointopsthegame.com. The kit includes screenshots, vehicles, characters, weapons, logos, box art and more! You may also plunder the NovaLogic website and the Internet for additional material. You are not required to use all the assets in this kit.

Websites will be judged on the basis of:

Originality
Design layout
Functionality
Content
You must adhere to ALL of the following rules, as well as agree to the terms & conditions below by clicking on the ACCEPT BUTTON in order to enter the contest.

You must include the relevant age rating logo for your territory (15+ ELSPA, 16+ USK, 16+ SELL) and descriptors on the home page (included in the Web Design Kit).
You must include the following NovaLogic copyright line at the bottom of all pages:

Terms and Conditions

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Enter the online contest by completing the online entry form. You must complete all of the information on the online entry form. Entries are void if incomplete or if information entered is incorrect. After entering the required information in all of the fields and clicking on the button marked “Submit” you will be eligible for judging.

2. Opening Date - 1st July 2004 Closing Date - 31st July 2004

3. Entrants will be accepted from European territories, India, South Africa, the Middle East and Russia.

4. One entry per household. In the case of multiple entries, only the first entry will be accepted. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account. NovaLogic accept no responsibility for entries lost, delayed or incomplete.

5. By entering this promotion, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Judges. Entry constitutes permission to utilize submitted website for purposes of advertising and promotion on behalf of NovaLogic’s PC game Joint Operations™: Typhoon Rising™.

6. Contest will be judged by NovaLogic Ltd 5th Floor, 70-74 City Rd London EC1Y 2BJ.

7. Websites will be judged on the basis of:
- Originality
- Design layout
- Functionality
- Content

8. Employees of NovaLogic, Inc., NovaLogic Ltd and affiliated companies and members of those employees' immediate families are not eligible.

9. Drawing governed by laws of United Kingdom. Any claims relating to this contest must be resolved in the United Kingdom.

10. Prizes are as follows:

1 FIRST PRIZE (1 winner only)
• Cash prize (£250) or local currency equivalent
• Copy of Joint Ops, signed by the development team
• Joint Ops poster, signed by the development team
• Joint Ops goodie bag
• OFFICIAL STAMP OF APPROVAL for web site - “Official JO Fansite” logo + 1st Place WINNER logo

RUNNERS UP (5 in total)
• Copy of Joint Ops, signed by the development team
• Joint Ops poster, signed by the development team
• Joint Ops goodie bag
• OFFICIAL STAMP OF APPROVAL for web site - “Official JO Fansite” logo.

OVERALL COMMUNITY PRIZE (1 winner only)
• Framed Joint Ops Commemorative Plaque
• NovaWorld Community Winner logo.

11. The winner will be notified by email after 31st July 2004. A full list of Winners will be posted on the website.

12. NovaLogic Ltd is not responsible for technical failures in entry transmission, or lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries. NovaLogic Ltd is not responsible for any damage to participant's computer occasioned by participation in the promotion or downloading of any information necessary to participate in the promotion.

13. NovaLogic will not be held responsible for legal action brought against any entrants’ website due to use of unlicensed or copyrighted material.

14. Other Conditions include:

a. Site (or at least mini site-part of a larger site) must be dedicated to Joint Ops
i. I.e. a webpage dedicated to Joint Ops within a larger gaming portal.
b. Site must not link to “questionable” sites
i. Subject to NovaLogic judges’ discretion
c. All legal text with respect to the corresponding origin country should be included
