HELLO ALL!

If you can't connect to the Joint Operations Typhoon Rising NovaWorld games, we are hosting two PUBLIC games while we work on a fix for the connection errors:

NL Athens and NL Sparta are the two NW publicly hosted games.

PLEASE help us troubleshoot your connection error by providing us with a _connectlog. Below are the following steps to generating a _connectlog that will show us what is going on. We are working to get a fix in the first update for all connection errors, but we need more information!!

Steps on generating a _connectlog:

1. Locate the Joint Operations shortcut on your desktop. If you do not have a shortcut, please go to the install directory (default: C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Joint Operations Typhoon Rising) , right click on Jointops.exe and Create a Shortcut.

2. Right click on the shortcut, and select Properties.

3. At the end of the "Target" field, add a " /connectlog ".

Therefore, the line in the Target field should look like this:

"C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Joint Operations Typhoon Rising\Jointops.exe" /connectlog

4. After making this change, Apply the changes and close the property box.

5. Double click the shortcut to launch the game, and try to connect to NovaWorld.

After receiving the error, you can close out of the game.

6. If you go to the following directory:

C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Joint Operations Typhoon Rising

You will notice a file called _connectlog.txt . This will have the information we need in order to better understand the technical issue at hand.

<font color="#ff0000">Also, please include who your ISP is (who provides you with internet connection) and what your hardware set up is (do you have a router? if so, what type? etc) </font>
