Ha ha Rot , your turn shall come.
Ok not making excuses here but just coming from DF1 to DF2 i have to say i like the DF1 scope better, i find the DF2 scope blocks your view slighty, guess i need to practice more. lol Rot your days are numbered, and what you laughing at CF so are yours. :lol:Looking forward to next time. Hey ED what connection you got, were looking for a good host, Me and Rot 56k:traurig310.gif:
Edward do you have any close quarter DM maps for DF2, good for a minimal number of players, even a 1 on 1 type.

I starting to appreciate the rawness of the Df2 terrain grafix.
Being pinned down, and having to spot the muzzle flash is great. :snipersmilie.gif:
I have DF1, Land Warrior and TFD. Ive never played DF2....Am I missing something??? My DF1 wont play in Win XP. There is a new trilogy pack with the first three however I dont wish to pay for three to get the one I dont have, however its WinXP compatible now. Sigh
All that and I lost the BHD contest cause I had to work. Two easy questions. **** Im having a tough week. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! :glueck11baby.gif:

Too bad you're only playing DM/TDM type maps..
I have a bunch of A/D maps I made long time ago that'd be a real work out for ya.
If you want them, pop over to General Discussion over at DFA - I just put a link to them.
Now if it was those types of maps, I might come along and play target while I'm trying to snipe at ya... :)
Oh and Charger? If you need any help with PSP and making Sigs, let me know and I'll give you some links to help you do some great stuff. :)
Kinda like this:

That one was a spur of the moment idea that came to me short while back :)

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! :glueck11baby.gif: i'll answer if your missing something lol . which graphics do you like better df1 style ?? or tfd style graphics. if df1 is your style then you'll probally love df2 . but if clean crisp dflw tfd bhd graphics is your style then your not missing a thing . only thing about df2 i like and liked from the start was tall grass , im stickn to dflw and bhd at least i can see my targets and not have to decifer which pixel i need to whack :spanka.gif:

If we eventually get enough people playing and a host, we could play those maps. :)

I can host if needed.. just need to know the times and dates..
If I can run 16 w/no problems in DFLW and TFD then DF2 shouldn't be any problems either :)

:stupid2: Yep still do and host under RF MIDNIGHT cable. Mostly on weekend mornings(GMT). Most of the time host my own maps. Still like the grass in the terrain
but miss the auto run and med of TFD and LW.

To make your DF2 character run on "auto-pilot" (auto-run) perform the following functions:
1. Turn "Num Lock" OFF.
2. Using the "up-arrow" (No# 8) on your numeric leypad, begin running forward.
3. Now turn "Num Lock" back ON.
Presto! You are now automatically running in DF2, leaving both hands free to do naughty things or nice things. This feature is useful for those long runs back to the FEBA (Forward Edge of the Battle Area).
Rediscovered this after two years of not using it. Did so while chasing after a train in a new Crowbar=M= CoOp map... I was chasing a train two years ago when I was first taught this "auto-run" feature by a generous DF2 player whose name I have forgotten.
Thanks to LadyHawke and Ghost, whose comments prompted my "brain-housing-group" into action.

Rot if your interested in maps whereyou have to look for muzzle flash you might try one of the shaded maps.
Or make one your self just pick a shadable terrain and shade it about the height of a soldier then insert the markers on the shaded part and give them green uniform...it will be hard to spot the opponent and you should be better off looking for muzzle flashes.
If your not familiar with terrain shading there`s a tut on this site on terrains link
