Nova-wars is now OFFICIALLY sponsored by Novalogic.

Novalogic UK will now be providing sponsorship and prizes for our leagues and we
will be updating the site accordingly.

Black Hawk Down

The prizes for Season 1 - Black Hawk Down will be in the form of eight custom
caps.

The winning team will also receive a special Zboard with custom Black Hawk Down
interface which they can present to the squad player of there choice.

Joint Operations

As you already know Joint Operations is due for release in May, this should just
about co-inside with the start of Season 2 for Nova-Wars.
We have now purchased the full version of the Nuke Ladder 2 script with all the
added features and are already putting together a fully redesigned website.

Nova-wars will be running an OFFICIAL Novalogic Joint Operation league and the
prizes for this will be limited edition caps and T-shirts and a custom made
Nova-wars trophy. They will also receive an official Novalogic tournament
winners banner for their website and have their name posted on the official
winners page at novalogic.com.

The admin team is also hard at work with a few other projects so expect further
news in the coming weeks.

Well that's mighty big of Novalogic to sponsore JO+BHD.What's
got me ticked is we have a C4 league operating, just completed
our first season and the second starting very shortly.Does the
C4 league qualify????If it doesn't,THAT"S WHAT I CALL A SLAP
IN THE FACE.

Hey isnt C4 a Novalogic game!!........How can they sponsor the other games and not C4.......We have one of the most dedicated communities involved.......We continue to bring new people into C4 and have also established a successful League now going into our 2nd season which continues to grow and bring in new members...We are more than deserving of Novalogics attention as a part of "Nova Wars"..........I believe its time for the C4 community to send them a reminder of that fact!:mad:

When nova put up the community nova world site. It made it clear that they were looking at the future. The only games that would let you register as a member were Black Hawk down, Task force dagger, Land warroir, maybe delta force 2, And now Joint operations. C4 and all the other earlier games such as the tank sims and the figher jet sims could not be used. The league could contact nova to see if they will sponser it. But I wouldn't hold my breath. C4 has maybe 25 players on line at one time during peek hours. That doesn't give Nova alot incentive to put time or money into it it this point. Hell they didn't support it much when it was new. At over 3 years old C4 has a unfair error ridden scoring system. Has a very small group of dedicated players less than what you find in a single smaller server for the other newer games. Enjoy your league as it is. At least you have some players willing to run it and put the time in to have one.

Now I have registered with Novalogic when I first installed C4.How can you have one (Novalogic) and not the other(Novaworld)???Currently we have 9 sqads signed up with approx-
matily 7-8 pilots per sqad, some more,some less.ADD that to the solo pilots,griffons.it's a Fair size group of people.True not like EA
Desert Combat and JO with thousands of players.mind you i see alot of empty servers for DC but some have 32 players at times in others.There must be people still playing the older flight sims.I
don't know why Novalogic hasn't appeared to give up on a new C4.Come and Get It server still up!!!!You see some C4 disc's in the stores, not like it once was.I guess there is still money to be
made huh??

When the Nova world community site started. There were some players complaining about the older games not giving you access to be a member. The forum there shows there are still players playing those other games also. But for them to post they would need to have one of the newer games. Alot of those players would be like what we have in C4. They play the 1 game they like but don't have one of the games to be a member. So few posts from them or the C4 players. Some of those other games have had there nova server stop serving games as well. Only the players can host now. Nova put out a post on it a few weeks ago. Just so there's no misunderstanding I wasn't taking a shot at the league or C4. Just adding my 2 cents about Nova and C4.

The beauty of the smaller community - fewer cheats. The disadvantages don't outweigh that...believe you me.

You speak of legit squads. Why not have a member of a squad mail his signature to another member - who mails it to another member - and so and so on - and finally to the CO who mails to the CO of the next squad who circulates the chain letter through his squad who mails it to the next squad and finally to Nova.

That may show enough unity in this community to turn Nova's head long enough to, at the least, consider it.

Just a thought.
