View Full Version : Can hosting be made easier?

It seems to me that hosting a game online is very "clunky" with very little control as compared with other games I play online.

When you're hosting (coop), you are limited to repeat or cycle, and if you hit enter at any time before the next one loads, you kick everyone out and they must rejoin. I want to be able to pick which map/mission we do next, or repeat a mission we may have failed. Can this be done without stopping the game and kicking everyone out?

Also, is there a way to show the kills after the game ends? (co-op) It shows during the game, but when it's over, it just circles around my chopper until the mext mission starts. I'd like to see the scores at that point. (when I played in someones DM game, it listed all the kills after the match)

I hope I don't sound whiney, but my electric toothbrush has a bigger manual than Comanche 4! Thanks!

I forgot to ask...Is this what the server swapper is for? If so, are there instructions on use?

I downloaded the v20 version, and the readme has some info, but I'm not clear if this is what I'm looking for. Also, is there a version available for v15?

Not really. What you see is what you have. The server swapper is to let the host join a server they are hosting as dedicated so it would become server and play in the next game with out resetting the server again. There is a game manager in the works. So there may be some other options to play in the future

Thanks for the info...I'll keep my eyes open and fingers crossed for the game manager. Still a great game though.

PS I wish Apache Longbow Assault or Apache Air Assault had multiplayer!
