Interesting.

The Original (Unfixed) V1.0.1.20 c4.exe has no problems hosting the new gametypes using just the cfg file.

Couldnt tell ya if AE works with it or not.
I'm sure we'll find out.

I'm submitting a new EXE to be posted. Its a fixed version of the fixed 1.0.1.20 exe. LOL

I will also request Reaper to post it on his site.


Its a modified version of the NoCD fix posted on this site but it will host the other game types, as well as allow you to select yellow & violet teams (via the cfg file).


Here are the changes in Hexadecimal format


Offset: New --- Previous --- Original (NovaLogic)

2E64: 75 --- 90 --- 75
2E65: 17 --- 90 --- 17

AE works on the original version 2 exe with the koth games. The original exe has been added to the site for those that want to use it. This is not a fixed exe. You will need to use a game disc to play or host.

The version 2 fixed exe is up for down load. It will allow the server to host tkoth/koth games. And AE works with it.

I am about to post my new MOD for C4, I got the New gametypes to appear in c4 gametype list correctly, all but Search&Destroy and AttackDefend, CTF, T CTF, KOTH, TKOTH all appear unabbreviated in the C4 hosting menu, but still must select them by other means, your tool for example....
working on fixing that....

Also Unlocked 2 options hidden in C4, Max Team Lives(Hosting area)
and ReTest Video(Advanced Options) other unlocks to come

also added some new death messages, ones displayed
like MasterX Killed Griffon, or MasterX Crashed, many new ones
that include ones for murders, suicides, and kills by other players,
this is all server side stuff

So much stuff in C4's files its awwing.....:stupid2: :stupid2: :stupid2:

Thanks for the HEX info above, I added it to the c4.exe in my MOD, the part that needs fixed and the No CD part.

I will note those addys and settings.....
