It has all the makings of a success - except for the buildings. Doesn't anyone ever travel, or watch t.v.? Why would they think that the buildings in Columbia would be the same as in Somalia, or anyother part of the world? Are we to expect the next in the series will be an attack on New York using Somalia architecture? Let's hope that they find a few designers before then.....

I bought this addon to the game today.. and the graphics and additional missions are nice... but I must say... I'm glad the addon was only $20.00.
I'm betting as soon as Nova has milked this for the majority of the cash they're going to get... we'll see those editing tools... What they lack in game making ability - they more than make up for in their ability to play the market and hype a product.
The biggest disappointment I've had with BHD and TS so far is the lack of good COOP mapmaking. Gone are the days of a group attaining goals and a mission. Gone are the days of you shoot the bad guy and he is dead (lazy way to make maps - just respawn them). In the COOP maps I've played... you spawn in a hot zone with AI already killing you... or spawn 200 feet in the air with AI shooting guns and missles at you... or you spawn in the middle of a minefield with only the map's maker knowing the way out... its total bullfeces... Either the idiots who make these maps don't bother to play the single player missions or have never experienced a decent LW or TFD map. At the very least - those maps left the group of players with a sense that a mission had been accomplished.
I guess I could make some maps... but watching what the BHD and TS players do... the work would be wasted on idiots barging in and just 'spraying and praying'... totally ruining the idea behind spending time on the missions. Whatever...
IMHO.. it was worth $20.00 to enjoy some new sights and sounds... But, I wouldn't give a wooden nickel for the maps (COOP anyway) coming from the mapping community.

You've got to be pretty close to 100% on this one...that good coop is so hard to find, well at least in a NovaLogic game. It's nearly impossible to design a decent coop map without the coop support that belongs with it. As much as I do enjoy playing a BHD mission now and again I can only say that there are games out there that would probably knock your sox off in the realm of coop play. RavenShield is one of those games. I've been working with the editor, which I might add has a Bryce like quality to it in the design and placing of textures and static meshes. It defiantly is in a league of its own for it’s ability to render area’s of the map that basically surround each of the players instead of rendering the entire map at one time.
I miss the days of Land Warrior somewhat, at least the coop was decent enough to play even though the AI stood there and pretty much gave you the high sign while you shot him between the eyes, never the less it was fun to play with your team mates. In RavenShield the Tango’s will actually hunt you down, come up behind you and try to ambush you if your not careful.
I agree that coop is dead for BHD, it’s just not there and to run through a custom mission and have to kill the same tango 16 time or more is way to depressing for coop.

I'll stand here with you crying and disapointed at the lack of coop in BHD AND TS. I was hoping that coop would be included in the add-on, oh well.
Personally my best coop experience was SWAT3 Elite Edition. THe AI could be nasty at times, running up and down the stairs, hiding out and the maps were VERY realistic, meaning the ennemy too often had many entry points to the rooms you were in, let alone shoot you through the windows. I can't believe that Swat 4 was cancelled.
Spawning ennemies is not a good solution, that's agreed. I really wish the single player missions just got a treatment and were enabled for coop, that would actually solve my personal demands for a couple hundred hours.
