Just to give ya an idea of what kind of weapons heres afew:

36 barrel prototype has fired a burst of 180 rounds at a rate exceeding one million rpm.
40mm testbed has fired stacked grenades at rates as high as 20,000 rpm per barrel. This system is being developed by the Defence Science & Technology Organisation as an area-denial weapon to replace anti-personnel land mines (HeHe) as well as a range of other strategic military and civil applications.
