JOINT OPERATIONS INVADE AMD/ATI CYBER X GAMES: WINDOWS XP CHAMPIONSHIPS!
Exclusive preview of Joint Operations(tm) to be held at Cyber X Gaming event
Calabasas, Ca (Jan 6th 2004) - Entertainment software developer and publisher NovaLogic, Inc. today announced that an exclusive sneak preview and public play-test of the brand new multiplayer based PC title Joint Operations(tm): Typhoon Rising(tm) will be held during the AMD/ATI Cyber X Games: Windows XP Championships taking place at the Stardust and Riviera Convention Centers, Las Vegas, NV, from January 8th to 11th 2004.
A key sponsor of the Cyber X Games event, Shuttle will be showcasing Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising in its booths at both the Stardust and Riviera Convention Centers on Shuttle XPC's. Multiplayer tournaments will also be held at the Stardust Convention Center on Thursday Jan 8th and Friday Jan 9th.
Set in Indonesia in the near future, Joint Operations takes the player to a country on the verge of disintegration. Players can wage war as either a member of the high-tech Joint Operations Forces or the more guerrilla-oriented Indonesian Rebels. Super-foliated jungles provide dense cover for frantic firefights or stealthy sniper battles, while the wide-open rice fields and coastal islands are ideal for intense user-controlled vehicle combat.
Joint Operations will ship during Q1 2004 on PC CD ROM.
