dds direct x sdk

i am having some problems finding a short download of the directx sdk so i can run that dds program i have had your program before and it worked but is there a url of another product not useing sdk or is there a url for a shorter download?:ar15:

there is a download in the BHD downloads section that is just the dds thingy without having to download the entire sdk. but, if i recall, that one is older & i don't think it works with xp. so i ended up downloading the newer sdk. the dds thingy in the newer sdk does not work on it's own, and i never bothered to find out which ddl's it used in the sdk (why bother since i had the sdk).

my suggestion is to download the sdk if the one in the BHD downloads doesn't work for you
