New Update

Just a note , Dont download the update if you want to host multiplayer coop games .It's to late for me , I already downloaded it and now I cannot start the game through the master addon , which you need to do to host cooperative games, lets you host all other versions of the game though , go figure.. Needless to say , Not a happy camper here...:mad:

Do what I do when there are so many mods around. Partition your drive and have multiple installs of the program. One for the updated - one for the master addon. :)

The master addon has to be used to play host coop , it doesn't matter how many times or where i have the game on my computer , you have to go through the master addon to host coop.Say i hadn't have done the new update it wouldnt even had mattered because people that did do the update would not be able to join my game anyway , because of the different versions of the game.I can start the game through the regular way but there is no coop in the regular game.Try to host a coop game BTR you'll see what i mean.I think i'll just go back to TFD , BHD has been nothing but headache after headache. Nova will have a patch for this update , then a patch for that patch and then a patch for the patch for that patch. I could go on about nova and what i think but who cares you know.I just liked making coop maps and having people enjoy playing them.

Yeah, you're right Doorway - BHD has been a pain - but I was also thinking that maybe those who really enjoyed coop would also have a BHD install that stayed with the version compatible to the addon.... in addition to the install for non-cooperative games. You never know about DC though - he could have a fix tomorrow. :)

FYI - Don't know how much longer we'll be hosting it, but if you check our downloads - we still offer the 1.2.1.1 update ;)

like BT said a 2nd install of bhd in a seperate folder with in the main n/l folder will do just fine . then use the 1.2.1.1 update for just the 2nd install and reinstall the master addon into the 2nd bhd install. now make a short cut DFBHD.exe for the 2nd bhd install and drag it to your desktop . now to play and host coop use the 2nd install shortcut to start the coop gm's . this should work unless n/l dont support the older version on the server's

hey doorway i know it's been a time of stress for you :(

but i agree revert back to old version as thats where and only where coop die hard players can play , so i'm sure peeps will join again once they know your still there :)

It looks as if Charger was right, there is a new version of MA for the new BHD update to 1.3.0.37 The MC squad said they will post it on their website tonite. As some of you said, I always keep a backup copy of the old version of BHD since I don't trust NOVA and never have. The down side is, as expected, only the people with the same version as the host will be able to join his game. For the time being, I intend to host for both versions until enough have gotten the update before I switch to just one. Time will tell.

DC does have an updated version of the addon available at his site. Currently, however...the Medic Mod has been removed "For now.."
