View Full Version : Smooth entrace of Caves

I've made a map which contains quite a lot of tunnel sections.
I figured out the blink isue a little (tx Edward) but I still have some problems entering my tunnels.
There a a few types, and I prefer the Rocky type going in a "Z" shape cave.
Does this tunnel have any elevation?
When I have a correct hight on this entrance, the main part of my tunnel is visual above the ground.
When I manage to bring the tunnel underground (wher Tunnels usely are ;-) ) I have no entrance.
Using the other Rock-like (CIA?) entrance, there is a elevation of -5 meters and a 180 degrees change of direction.
But using this tunnel, I die even before I have the chance of climbing down the stairs.
A suplement of this question is, Are the different type of tunnels compattable?
And if so, without any tricks?

recived the map its easy to fix i dont have time tonight but should tomarrow . all goes right you'll have it back fixed fri or sat

But Please, not only the solution, but also the way to solution.
There are a lot issues and maps I consider to make...
So if you have more Tunnel info I would be greatful

So if you have more Tunnel info I would be greatful the main problem with your map right now is tunnel system built on uneven ground . this is not a problem at all really you need to read the absolute height tutorial . this will fix the problem of tunnel section's not in allignement which is each and every 1 of the section's . i took a quick peek the day i recived it and that seemed to be the major problem . now in the cia tunnel room's if i remember right they are off just a tad and need slight adjustment . i'll hunt that info down for you , in tfd it's best not to mix the different tunnel section's and room's . best to stay with either cave or cia for whole system , at the top of this map editing section is a sticky say's tutorial's there is a bounty of info there and the absolute height tutorial
